We believe living out an integrated life of faith and parenthood is a hard journey. It is, nevertheless, a journey full of hope and grace. Our Lord tells us that receiving children forms us for life with Him: “But Jesus, calling them together, said: Suffer children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” (Luke 18:16); “Whosoever shall receive one such child as this in my name, receiveth me. And whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.” (Mark 9:36). A marriage open to life walks one of the oldest pilgrim roads in human history, a history that God Himself is present within. This site pairs each season of parenthood with one of the five Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary, to unite the joys and sufferings of each with the Holy Family who walked each of these seasons under God’s care and providence.
We believe that God authored the design of the woman’s body, and that He is the compassionate keeper of the mysteries of fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early childhood. Grounded in an understanding of the human person held and handed down for thousands of years, Gerard illuminates and equips couples with the knowledge of God’s original plan for the journey of new parenthood.
We believe the father’s path is as real as the mother’s, which is why every page here is written for the journey With Mary and With Joseph. And we recognize grief and suffering are inescapable parts of the story. The couple still waiting, the couple who have lost a child, and many others are invited to pray and live the Joyful Mysteries with the Holy Family under the care of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter.
